This is a video of a brave man who is standing his ground in the best sense of the word. He knows he is in danger, but he does not attack/retaliate or give up his rights. I think that we should think of this as serving his country in a better sense than serving power interests in the domestic and international affairs of our country. I post this here because I think that this is a video of a micro-moment in a process of emergent change in a social pathology. I think that the refusal to be abused, and the claiming of the right to a voice without violence emerges within a psychoanalytic process and changes pathology in the family systems of our patients. It changes social pathology in our country as well.
